If you've been looking for an excuse to revisit Scream: The TV Series or finally see what all the buzz was about, now's the perfect time.
All three seasons are now streaming completely free on Tubi, giving horror fans access to 30 episodes of slasher mayhem, mystery, and plenty of suspects to keep you guessing.
The series first premiered in 2015 and took a different approach than Wes Craven's legendary films. Instead of following Sidney Prescott and Woodsboro's Ghostface killer, the first two seasons introduced a brand-new cast of teenagers whose lives are turned upside down after a brutal murder tied to a cyberbullying incident. As more bodies begin to pile up, long-buried secrets resurface and everyone quickly becomes either a suspect... or the next victim.
One of the things I always appreciated about the show was that it captured the spirit of Scream without simply trying to copy the movies. Every episode plays like a giant whodunit, constantly dropping clues, throwing out red herrings, and making you question nearly every character.
Then came Season 3: Scream Resurrection.
Rather than continuing the original storyline, the final season starts fresh with a completely new cast, a new mystery, and, perhaps most importantly for longtime fans, the return of the iconic Ghostface mask. Seeing the classic look back on screen instantly made the series feel much closer to the films that inspired it.
Whether you prefer the original Lakewood storyline or Resurrection's return to Ghostface, having the entire series available in one place makes for an easy horror marathon. With 30 episodes to work through, there's plenty of twists, kills, and mystery to keep slasher fans entertained for a while.
I'll admit, this series never seems to get talked about as much as the movies, which is a shame. It may not replace the original film franchise, but it carved out its own identity with memorable characters, creative kills, and enough surprises to keep the mystery fresh from episode to episode.
If you're in the mood for a binge-worthy slasher series, all three seasons of Scream: The TV Series are now streaming free on Tubi.
So... here's the real question.
Are you a fan of the Lakewood story, or do you prefer Scream Resurrection and the return of the classic Ghostface mask?
