The film follows three college students looking for a relaxing weekend getaway after booking a cabin that's built around Bigfoot folklore. At first, it sounds like a fun roadside attraction with a little paranormal flavor.
Then things take a deadly turn.
The cabin is operated by two brothers obsessed with the paranormal, and before long, the group finds themselves caught in a nightmare where the local legends may be far more real than anyone expected. What begins as a quiet escape into the woods quickly becomes a desperate fight to survive.

Zombie movies, vampires, and haunted houses get plenty of attention, but cryptid horror has always had this unique ability to make you wonder what could actually be hiding just beyond the tree line. Dense forests, isolated cabins, strange noises in the dark... it's the perfect recipe for suspense, and Sawtooth Mountain seems to lean into all of it.
